MECHANIC

Goose Hummock Golf and RV Resort is currently seeking a qualified applicant for the mechanic position. The position will report directly to the Course Superintendent but will also require the successful candidate to work effectively with several operational departments including General Manager, Golf Shop Operations with our Head Professional, and our Food and Beverage Services operation.

Responsibilities and ability to perform the following tasks will be very important for the successful applicant:

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment and cart fleet

• Repair and test equipment/carts as needed

• Reel sharpening and adjusting

• Maintenance and repairs on all buildings associated within the golf course and RV park

• Record keeping of all work done

• Maintain an organized and tidy workspace

• Ability to weld

• Formal mechanics training an asset

 

On site house available to rent for suitable candidate.
