PRO SHOP STAFF

This can be either a full time position or a part time position. Employment is seasonal and will start around May 1 and continue until the course is closed for the season; usually around October 15. The hours and days worked can vary week to week, with the bulk of the work being in the evenings and on weekends. A majority of the time, the work will be inside the clubhouse but from time to time the employee may be required to work outside in varying types of weather.

Wage is paid on an hourly basis, with flexibility in scheduling of shifts being provided. Golf knowledge will be considered an asset.

Job Description:

  • Provide excellent customer service through selling product, managing the tee-sheet and answering the phone, etc.

  • Provide supervision and assistance to Back Shop staff.

  • Provide assistance to on course marshals and players assistants.

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the Pro Shop at all times.

  • Assist with merchandising and maintaining product displays, including re-stocking.

  • Ensure company policies and procedures are being followed.

  • Maintain employment in a safe manner.

  • Work as a team member and assist other Pro Shop staff when needed.

  • Execute other tasks as directed by the Head Professional.
