VOLUNTEER - PLAYER ASSISTANT PROGRAM

This volunteer based program is a key position in providing our golf guests with a satisfying golf experience. The player assistant will monitor numerous activities taking place on the golf course at any one time. The successful candidate must be comfortable with guest interactions and display a high level of customer service skills along with problem solving strategies. Golf knowledge and/or previous golf course experience will be considered an asset.

The player assistant position is seasonal in nature and does provide limited opportunities for work during the week, with the majority of the scheduled shifts on weekends and on tournament or event days.

Volunteers working in the player's assistant program will be provided with golfing and driving range privileges. Furthermore, they will be given special discounts for Pro Shop merchandise and special rates for golfing guests.

Job Description:

• Provide excellent customer service by helping maintain golf course pace of play, help fixing divots and ball marks, raking sand traps and maintaining tee time intervals.

• Provide a positive environment for guests

• Maintain the cleanliness of the golf course at all times.

• Ensure company policies and procedures are being followed.

• Maintain work in a safe manner.

• Work as a team member by communicating issues when they arise.

• Execute other tasks as directed.
